If you’ve spent any time in Clarksville, you know that a common complaint among residents use to be that there was nothing fun for families and kids to do. Tennessee’s fifth largest city was short on family entertainment. Enter The City Forum; a 120,000 square foot complex offering two stories of laser tag, high speed and hi tech go karts, mini golf complete with waterfall and an 8.000 square foot restaurant, The City Forum is literally changing the landscape of Clarksville. The second largest indoor family entertainment complex in the nation, The City Forum is located near the corner of Madison Street and the Highway 76 connector at the rear of Miss Lucillle’s Marketplace. There is also an arcade featuring more than 50 games which range from old school favorites like air hockey to the newest video games. This is a place the entire family will love.
Trent Knott and his wife Dana, owners of Miss Lucille’s, spent five years traveling the country visiting similar spaces, envisioning the ideal entertainment complex in Clarksville. In addition to the go karts and laser tag, City Forum also offers 10 lanes of bowling, a play area for younger kids, 8,000 square feet of private event space, six birthday party rooms and the “streetery” where visitors can dine on custom made pizzas and wings. In addition, The Loading Dock restaurant, one of the largest restaurants in the city, features custom made burgers and craft beer.
Although City Forum took a little longer to open than anticipated, Trent wanted to make sure that both he and his team had perfected every last detail. What started out as a seven-acre warehouse was transformed into an all ages family entertainment center in Clarksville that now fills an important void in the local marketplace. It is like Dave & Busters on steroids where safety is top of mind. Entrepreneurs at heart, the Knotts have taken a vision and brought it to life. Future plans include bumper cars, a rock climbing wall, theme nights and unique community nights. with a commitment to atmosphere and customer experience, The City Forum has also provided over 100 new jobs to Clarksville residents.
